Scope and contact
This notice covers the Gordiani House website and enquiries sent to its contact channels. It does not cover the independent processing of external websites you choose to visit.
Data and purposes
Browsing transmits technical data, such as IP address, page requests and browser information, to hosting services for delivery and security. Language preferences, saved stops and optional-service choices are stored in your browser. The room selector does not send booking data or collect payments.
When you contact us
If you email or call us, we process the contact details and information you provide to answer and handle your enquiry. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a contract or performing the contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)); mandatory legal obligations rely on Article 6(1)(c). Providing contact information is optional, but we cannot reply without the necessary details. Please avoid sending unsolicited identity documents or sensitive data.
Technical services and map
Site delivery and security rely on the legitimate interest in making the service available and protecting it (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). The website is hosted with Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure; email uses Zoho. The optional Mapbox map loads only with consent (Article 6(1)(a)) and sends the provider your IP address, browser data and map tile requests. We do not request GPS location. The site code does not integrate advertising, traffic analytics or automated decisions about individuals.
Retention and recipients
Enquiries are retained for as long as needed to handle them and any resulting relationship, subject to legal obligations or the protection of legal rights. Hosting and email services process data needed for their functions; technical log retention depends on the services used. Local preferences are described in the cookie notice. Providers may operate outside the European Economic Area: consult their notices and transfer safeguards, including applicable GDPR mechanisms.
Your rights
Where provided by the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw map consent through Cookie preferences without affecting earlier processing. Email bnb@gordianihouseroma.com to exercise your rights. You may lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority or your competent supervisory authority.
